From “Sunnydalopolis”

Dr Hannis Severn

Dr. Severn, who bears a striking resemblance to Dean Vernon Wormer of the movie “Animal
House” is owner of Xortox Labs, employer of Warren Mears, “cybergenius”, and the place where Spike and Warren created Buffy Rebecca. Dr. Severn, a sinister type, long over the edge of sanity, is terminally ill and seeks a cure in any form...Including Warren’s neural transfer system...Or the Scroll of Immorality owned by vampire Phil aka the Voice...

In hopes of using Warren, fiancee of his niece, Kristen, and his mysterious British collaborator “Dr.” Walthrop to obtain immortality, Dr. Severn has desisted from stopping their little robot project and even gone so far as to hire the good Dr. Walthrop aka Spike...

He also keeps Harmony the Vampire on his payroll...Harmony was rescued by Xortox Labs when the company secretly worked on the Initiative project...Severn hopes that she and her vamp contacts can provide the Scroll if Warren’s project fails...

Mr Willes

Severn’s head of Security and all-around bullying toady...He fears and dislikes Harmony and all vamps...

Phil aka The Voice"

An older vampire and once comrade of Spike, Phil is a practical sort who mixes easily with the human world...

His principal profession is that of package delivery man but he runs a profitable side business in the obtaining of rare and priceless magic and occult objects for his many clients...

He prides himself on his ability to maintain a “professional” attitude in his dealings with them...And never, never eats his customers...Unless, of course they welch on him...

Milton Remington
Dr. Remington was in life a popular Sunnydale therapist...Joyce Summers, mother of Buffy (and therefore Buffy Rebecca and Dawn), numbering among his patients.
Forced to flee town in haste when certain matters came to light regarding his practice, the good doctor had the unfortunate luck to be caught by one of Sunnydale's numerous vamps and was himself transformed...
As he kept patients' therapy tapes for amusement...and profit...He had Mrs. Summers' on hand...And came to believe that he was the One destined to destroy the Slayer as a result...

Professor Constantine Drages ...aka Constantine XXX...

Professor Drages is a Greek historian and expert on the Byzantium and Roman Empires...He is also Byzantine Emperor Constantine XXX, hereditary emperor of Rome and Byzantium, Commander of the Order of Knights of Byzantium.
As such he and his followers seek to protect the world from any evil remnants of Rome's pagan past...In this case, a rather manic rejected Goddess of Glory and Victory. Though a noble, charming, and courageous man, he is by nature of his position and the need to weigh the millions of lives at stake in his decisions, capable of being utterly ruthless in his quest...

From “In for a Penny”...

Buffy-April

Buffy Rebecca’s body was reactivated by Warren and Tara with the relatively primitive computer brain of Warren’s first robot, April in order to assist in the fight against Darla...Although a very pleasant lady, she tends towards the dim side...And cannot take action on her own outside the scope of her programming...

A “dim-witted sexbot brain in my body” Buffy Rebecca calls her...Buffy however is quite amused to see her sister deal with a copy...

Leto...aka George Letos-

“The Gandhi of Sunnydale vamps”, Leto led efforts to make peace with the Slayer (Slayers he soon found out to his dismay) after Buffy Rebecca had wreaked havoc on Sunnydale’s undead...

He was in life a powerful Sunnydale politician and Willow Rosenberg’s grandpa’s best friend and still retains memories of her...Which will lead him to see her in a new and dangerous light...

Though one of the better vamps, he has not achieved the humanity of a Walthrop or an Angel, although he retains a certain ability to love...

From “The Tie That Binds...”

Basey Granger

From Craftsville, Indiana, Basey is the new Slayer, called when Buffy died temporarily in “In for a Penny”...She is one year younger than Buffy and was several years ago betrayed by her Observer, the treacherous Ms. Post to the local vampire power in her home area, Sentinus...before she had the strength and training of a called Slayer. Sentinus hoped to use her, alive but in thrall to learn about the Watchers’ Council...She was assisted by a friend of Giles from the Council to
escape...And has been in hiding until recently...Although reinstated with the Council following her escape...

She has a five year old brother, Leroy...Sentinus having killed the rest of her immediate family...

She is quite fascinated with Giles and has wasted little time in letting him know...

Amelia Walthrop-Hunt

From Brusset, England, Ms. Walthrop-Hunt is a member of the Watchers’ Council and, understandably, an expert on William the Bloody aka Spike, he being her great-great granduncle.

She has been appointed to guide and keep tabs on the Walthrops while they are in England...And followed them from America.

Amelia Walthrop, Sr

William Walthrop’s (aka Spike) mother, who died in 1879 a year before his transformation by Dru...Spike has had few memories left to him of her, but did manage to remember her favorite song...”I Know Where I’m Going”...To give it to Buffy Rebecca...

Ms. Walthrop spent a lifetime in brutal factories and working as a chambermaid in order to give her son the chance to attend Cambridge University. Spike is therefore deeply grateful that she passed away before his tragic disappearance...

Sir Harold Milliken
Sir Harold (aka Ernest Gruber-Schemm) heads the old English law firm which fronts for Wolfram-Hart in Europe...A respected English barrister of mild-mannered appearance, he is also an escaped Nazi war criminal with considerable experience with vamps and the supernatural as head of Nazi Occult Research. As liaison to the SS Death's Head Legion, vampiral he encountered Spike briefly at Leningrad in 1941...He has WH to thank for his extended life-span and owing to the LA branch's disasterous collapse at the end of "In for a Penny" he is now Number One for all WH... He has for the moment become Drusilla's powerful ally...But dear as gentle Dru is to him, he and WH have their own agendas...And have not forgotten the slaughter of WH's Special Projects Division by Darla and Dru...Or Darla's and Dru's failure to destroy Buffy Summers...

William Walthrop IV

Spike’s sister Amelia’s descendant, named after the lost William by family tradition...He is an artist living in Brusset...

from "Yet More (Semi)Parallel Lives...The Great Race, 1906..."

Buffy-Millie and Will

In this longer SPL tale, Buffy's mind has merged (during a neural recording accident while trying to restore her robotic sis, Buffy Rebecca) with that of Miss Millicient Fate, her counterpart in an alternate universe, a Physics graduate student living at the turn of the twentieth century...The first in fact ever to attend Princeton...

Informed by a counterpart of Glory's kindly but powerless multidimensional brother Benedictus that she is, to put it bluntly, "stuck" in this world, without Slayer status or power (fortunately this world is demon-free) Buffy-Millie's confusion and anxiety are somewhat relieved by the presence of a number of counterparts of friends and family, most notably one William Maximillian Walthrop, human counterpart of Spike...Who is already deeply in love with Millie having admired her courage and brilliance...

Complicating matters however is the presence of Angel's human counterpart, the devastatingly handsome and dashing Angel LeGrand, fellow Princetonian...Wealthy, charming, vain, and spoiled...Who has had a romantic encounter with Miss Fate which he exploited to steal her thesis ideas for his own when panic-striken over his failure to produce anything valid ...

Naturally the conservative Princeton Board of Trustees expelled the troublesome woman daring to accuse a Princetonian gentleman of disreputable behavior...Walthrop withdrawing in protest as well...

While this led to a joyfilled romance with Walthrop, Buffy-Millie has neither forgiven nor forgotten LeGrand...And as his success as the Nation's Idol grows, her rage has intensified...Now having attempted and failed to defeat him at his own game, in part she and Will are convinced, due to his agents, she seeks to beat him in the Great Around the World Race sponsored by his father, Hercule LeGrand, to promote their new company's line, automobiles...

Professor Millicient "Buffy" Fate-Walthrop is, perhaps...And of necessity...A hair less scrutible than her counterpart...

Angel LeGrand

Angel Le Grand...aka "The Great Angel"...is Angel's human counterpart in the alternate universe of Buffy-Millie's existence. Wealthy, well-connected...and dazzingly handsome with perhaps the world's most sparkling teeth, Angel LeGrand is the hero of America's new Technologic Age...thanks as much to his skillful publicity as much as his laudable daring...Beloved darling of the press...And of course the ladies

With the exception of one Millicent Fate-Walthrop...Who has seen the other side of our gleaming hero...

Amelia Walthrop, 1897

William "Max" Walthrop's beloved mum, living in New England since moving her family to America. Mother also of Melia and Phil and mother-in-law to Buffy-Millie...She has her doubts about Miss Fate's feelings for her son.

Melia Walthrop

Will's dear sis...Who bears a striking resemblance to Buffy Summers' young sister, Dawn...

Phil Walthrop

Will's young brother...Dearly devoted to and protective of his sis-in-law...

Willow and Alex

Willow and Xander are married in this dimension and together own and manage the New York Sentinel newspaper. Willow is also a leader of the suffragette movement and Millie Fate's dearest friend...

Warren Mears, 1906

Warren is Alexander Harris' chief editor and assistant, of the sniveling but irreplacibly competent variety...

Hercule LeGrand

Angel's powerful, domineering, and rather sinister father, determined for his son to win the Great Race...By any means necessary...

Dr. Constantine and Kristine Fate

Millicient Fate's beloved parents...For whom Buffy-Millie is reasonably satisfied to have exchange such twenty-first century blessings as MTV... Dr. Fate is a history professor who bears a marked resemblance to the emperor Constantine XXX Drages of Buffy's universe while Kristine is Joyce...in early twentieth century costume and a few pounds stouter...

Buffy and Will, Jr.

Buffy-MIllie and Will's children.

Miss Madeleine DuBois

Beautiful and intrepid reporter Madeleine DuBois is the first female...And Black reporter hired by a major New York paper, namely Alex Harris' New York Sentinel. Determined to prove her value and skill she has chosen to participate in the race rather than watch from a distance with Angel LeGrand's adoring reporter followers...Mr. LeGrand having become quite taken with her in the process

"Qualities of Mercy-"

Anne

Buffy Summers' demon counterpart...Seen with no name in the BR verse story, "In for A Penny"...Here she has "hitched" a ride back from beyond the grave with resurrected Buffy and is revealed to have been waiting for her chance to take control. She is aware of the external world and especially of Spike's attachment to Buffy, hoping that it is based on his sensing of her presence...

Dr. Jones

Anything but a retired "Indiana" Jones, Dr. Henry Jones aka Col. Dr. Hans Gresner, SS is a brilliant but aging neurosurgeon called in by a demon contact of Buffy's to assist Spike when his chip fails. However the good doctor has been troubled by William the Bloody before and has his own agenda.

Dr. Jones also has made an appearance in the BR verse under similar conditions as a minor character in "The Tie That Binds..."

"Mona and the Monsters-"

Job Wescox

"Boldest new TV producer in Hollywood", Job Wescox, or Mr W. as he is affectionately called by cast and crew, is a dynamic young TV series producer who hopes to film his ground-breaking new TV horror series, "Mona and the Monsters" on location...If he can find the right mix of small town charm and and hideous underbelly...

Scodos

First encountered in the series as the unreliable commander of Dreg's vanp mercenaries in "Sunnydalopolis", Scodos has taken the leadership of Sunnydale's underworld community by default...And on meeting Mr. W. has seen a golden opportunity to provide for his people by finding them gainful employment in the human economy...

Libby Marsden

Young, beautiful, startlingly innocent, and sweetly compassionate Libby Marsden is the young movie star Job Wescox has landed for the role of his Mona...Though she has trouble with the idea of playing such a callous killer of evil...After all, vamps were people once, right?...Nice people, some of them...

Sidney Mechamber

Slightly faded star of stage and screen, the charming, somewhat cynical Sidney plays the mastermind Big Bad, one "Demontos" in the Mona series...A charming, devilish fiend bent on world domination...
